Fun Weekend!

Well, this past weekend was mine and Newton's last full weekend together. We've had a fun, crazy, busy and unpredictable summer. I have to say, it's been so nice to have such a loving and devoted friend. But, all good things come to an end... and Newt cannot wait to see his mom and dad! We took a trip back to Austin for Chasity's wedding reception. Sarah went with us... what fun we had!

Sarah's brood... yes, this is her NEW house! And yes, she DID get a jack russell terrior... Shelby :) (oh, and yes, this was near impossible to take!


The drive down wore Sarah and Newton out.. you know, since I did the driving! :)


The lady at the drive through thought Newton was the best thing since coffee! She gave him a WHOLE CUP of whipped cream, and a glass of ice water. He sure did like that whipped cream! He didn't even share. He did share the water with Sarah, though... he knew she was thirsty!!!


Newt's new favorite thing to do in my car is to come up and stand on the back seat and put his head on your shoulder and rest it there. You think, aww, that's so sweet... till his front paws come up onto the center console. haha! He would like to be in the front seat, please!


Yes, this is a random photo. Random German-Shepard-type dog. This dog had Bassett Hound legs... it was cute, but different! The middle is the random baby (apparently one of Chasity's friend's children, but I just played with him not knowing who he was) and Chasity's brand new puppy, Ruby. Ruby is an 8 week old lab mix. She's super sweet :). Jake and Anne... get a puppy, do the work, and let me play with it!

LAKE!!!!

What a great weekend! :). Newt is back to feeling 100% and has a spring in his step! We went over to Charity's and swam! Below is Camo...

Tired Puppy!

Newton has decided that my chaise lounge on my couch is perfect just for him! :) He's so tired... too much playing!

Newton's having a fun time... playing outside, swimming, taking car rides, playing with friends (human, doggies, and kitties), taking long walks, and just getting spoiled lots and lots! But, he can't wait to see him Mom and Dad! :)

Dallas Dog Park!

This weekend we found the most fabulous dog park in Dallas! And... it's only about 10 minutes from home! It's on White Rock Lake... there's a fabulous fenced in area for big dogs, another for little dogs, and an old boat ramp for the puppies to go in the water! We had a great time. My friend, Marcia, took us there on Saturday, and we had to go back today!

Newton wasn't SUPER wild about going out further than he could reach, but he had a super fun time!


Yeah... Newton's NOT the one humping the other dog ;)... he has manners!

Newt and I felt like we were in luxury at Dave and Kim's! They've upgraded the whole family room... it's pretty fantastic!



Will went with me (in your car, Jake) to pick up Newton from the house... we stopped at Chick-Fil-A and got a shake for Will (not Newt). :) Newton did so great! I gave Will a Pup-peroni, and Newt did all his tricks for him while waiting in line! I think Will really liked it when I let him hold the leash from the car to the house... you know, with the dog that weighs more than him!


Will has new glasses! Don't you just love them?


While Newton and I were out playing, Trousers came out. (He's HUGE!!!). So, we lifted him (Trouser's daddy and I) over the fence so they could play. They're cute :)
